megan murphy

Megan has worked with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (OMNRF) for seven field seasons, with both the Aquatic Research Monitoring Section and the Lake Ontario Management Unit. She has completed the Fish and Wildlife Technician program and the Aquaculture Technician program at Fleming College, as well as her B.Sc. at Trent University. She  joined the Raby Lab at Trent University in fall 2020, where she is co-supervised by Tim Johnson (OMNRF) to work toward completing her M.Sc. in the Environmental and Life Sciences program. Megan’s research focuses on estimating sex-specific standard metabolic rate in response to temperature in adult walleye (Sander vitreus).
